Ocean Breeze: T1 Apartment in Cascais

Love cascais Positive: Its location Negative: There were painting in the building so noise very early in the morning

Positive: The apartment is excellent: the location, the cleanliness, the comfort and we also loved the warm welcome. It is perfect for a couple coming to Cascais for a vacation. Negative: Nothing

Great location in gorgeous Cascais, but limited amenities and no soul Positive: Great location a block from the heart of Cascais. Modern apartment even has a washing machine. Negative: No greeter upon arrival although it said there someone would be there. The entry directions were tricky for Americans: It’s on what we consider the 3rd floor, its number 2A, and the outside door of the apartment is brown - not white as shown in the photo. There were only two TINY bed pillows for the two of us, and no throw pillows on the sofa. Very little toilet paper, coffee pods, etc. The staff brought a few extra coffee pods and rolls of tp, but no additional pillows. They were polite but unable to direct us to reasonable parking for our six nights. (I did a little research and found a deal for €40/week at the nearby Terra garage. I gave the staff that info for the next guest.) There is no place to sit and look out the living room window, there’s no info about the area, and in general the place is completely soulless. (Every other place in Portugal had lots of character and even provided a bottle of wine upon our arrival!)
