Would not stay again Positive: Comfortable bedroom, well equipped kitchen area which was appreciated. Uphill but pretty direct route to walk down to shops/the centre. Not too far from the castle. Hosts responsive when I needed to contact them. Negative: There was some sort of issue paying the security deposit before arrival which meant I ended up paying twice to get the access codes. I wasn't particularly happy about that, though both payments were refunded after the stay. Rather unsettling arrival - after passing anti tourist graffiti on the walk uphill to the apartment, we found the entry door ajar with crowbar damage. On contacting the hosts it transpired that the fire service had to be called out to prise the door after the lock jammed. We would have appreciated being informed of this prior to arrival - we didn't know what we walking into! The apartment itself had a bit of a funny smell, possibly caused by moisture and insufficient ventilation in the bathroom and/or drains. It wasn't really clear from the photos just how TINY the bathroom is, the shower was like a coffin. I'm 5 ft 5 and it was tight, so I felt bad for my 6 ft partner. The shower door had a gap at the bottom so the floor kept ending up wet, the whole thing could do with renovating. The room WiFi wasn't working so also no TV signal, hosts advised using WiFi from neighbouring room. Though I'm sure this will have been fixed now. No air conditioning, just a fan. Fine for our stay in early May but may be more of an issue for guests staying during warmer months. Minor issue but kitchen bin lid was broken so kept falling off every time you used it.

This lovely and centrally-located studio apartment quickly felt like home. We'd stay there again. Positive: The room was lovely. The bed was comfortable and after a long day, my daughter and I enjoyed playing games and writing at the table, which was a bonus. The large windows provided a bright environment. The TV was nice for news and winding down. The kitchen was clean and stocked, and the shower was excellent. Getting into the room was also easy, and instructions were clear. When I had questions, the property team was very responsive, both through the app and WhatsApp. Negative: I understand the need for security, but I would have liked to have received check-in instructions a bit earlier, like 2-3 days, rather than on check-in day. I am a planner, and waiting until the last minute made me a little anxious. There was also an unpleasant smell coming from the shower and toilet. This was not the case every day, but on some days it was bothersome, even when we closed the door. The other Lisbon properties I've stayed in have restocked toilet paper and replaced towels halfway through my stay. This was not the case with this property, though we managed fine and did not ending up asking for them. These issues were minor and would not prevent me from staying here again. The positives certainly outweighed the negatives.

Inside a house of 8 apartments, on the second floor. Nice view to the west over the city of Lissabon.Enough room for two adults to stay comfortably. Located on the hillside, below the Castelo de São George, some 5 stairways up from Baixa.

Positive: Jó helyen volt. Biztonságos környéken, minden gyalogtávolságra. Reggelizők, éttermek. Csendes.

Positive: The location and narrow streets with restaurants/bars. Negative: Lack of Aircon. Small bathroom.
