Garça Real - Porto Grand House

Viaje de 8 amigas a Oporto para celebrar sus 50 años

Positive: Amazing value for money and bery clesn. Great location. Well worth the money.

Not what we expected, host didn't care. Group of 8. Positive: The location is good. Negative: We booked a certain bed configuration for our group of 8. After we had booked and prior to our stay, the new hosts changed this configuration and didn't notify us. This resulted in people who didn't want to share beds, sharing beds. Obviously we had already arrived and had no alternative but to stay in more uncomfortable surroundings than expected. The host was empathetic but unapologetic, suggesting that it wasn't their fault as we had made the booking with a previous host and they couldn't do anything about it. They asked us to be open-minded about our stay and enjoy the recently refurbished facilities which were ok but certainly not newly refurbished or of a high standard, just reasonably clean and acceptable. The 'living room' isn't a living room but a cramped dining room, so don't expect that. This wasn't a huge problem for us as we were out a lot of the time, except at night when our main issue was clear. The second key is temperamental, so make sure you have both available. The hot water was also not constant but we are a big group, so maybe not an issue for a smaller groups. Look, it's OK but it is certainly not what we booked and paid for. We asked for a partial refund but this was refused because they couldn't see why they were in the wrong. Average hosts, very polite but ultimately don't actually give a sh*t.

The host were very good in rectifying an initial problem with regard to the number of beds as advertised and overall I w Positive: Ease of check-in process, communication with host & location together with the size of the apartment coupled with its excellent city centre location adjacent to an underground carpark. Negative: Although fans were provided in each bedroom the property could benefit from air conditioning especially in the summer months

A régi lakás elemei keveredtek a modern korral, minket elvarázsolt.
